The general objective is to provide Guadalajara's metropolitan area and the state of Jalisco a new Public Library of high-quality, with a capacity of more than 2,000,000 volumes and capability to host 3,600 simultaneous users, this creating a research and reading space devoted both to the general public as well as specialists. This space will add to the cultural activities for the benefit of the population.
